Due to popularity, it's been decided that we should hold the International Infertility Film Festival three to four times a year. The date is yet to be decided, but I envisage it being around July. Here's the catch - I'm going to start setting themes. Everyone will be welcome to contribute, and to interpret the theme as literally or creatively as they desire. I'm looking for a theme which is cryptic enough to encompass all aspects and stages of infertility, such as "Seasons" or "Earth, Air, Fire and Water"... just to throw out a couple of quick examples.
Your opinion is required! Suggestions for themes can be posted in the comments or emailed to infertilefantasies at gmail dot com.

Yes, I think a tri-annual film fest is in order!! Next time I definitely want to have the opportunity to participate!! (This time I was a bit slow on the uptake).
I think doing it more than once a year and the idea of doing a theme are great. I was so unsure about what to do for this one and I think having a theme to work with will help me focus more!
Oooh, another one- sounds great!
And I like the idea of using seasons or elements as a theme.
or maybe there can be a "time" theme?
Sounds great. I hope I can get it together to participate.
As for a theme - how about dreams?
If I can figure out how to make one of these movies, I'd love to participate!
Suggestion from Mr Bea: the humours. Blood, bile, phlegm.

How 'bout "Landscapes"?
What if you used the seasons and did it 4 times a year and the theme was related to the season. For instance, summer could be "hot flashes" and it could literally be Clomid-induced nightmares of heat or "hot flashes" on the sun (I'm not sure how that would tie into IF, but I'm sure someone who knows more about the sun could see a similarity). Winter could be called "beyond cold" and could speak to the numbness one feels or interactions with another person. I think people could interpret it very loosely.
I like the humours too :-)
For a theme -- "Believe, Dream, Imagine, Celebrate."
I think all of those words could be interpreted many diffent ways to form some neat films.
How about "war?" -or something like that ("battle," "conflict," "fight"). Looking forward to July.
-D.
